Free pre-season Youth Hockey Training at Mile End Park

Hi there, I am a member of East London Hockey Club and received this email. My boys are too small - they can't even walk - but I thought I'd pass it on!
East London Hockey Club is offering 4 weeks of free hockey training to all youths under the age of 16. These will be 90mins of hockey training for children and teenagers of all abilities, whether they have never picked up a hockey stick or they have played for school / another club. It will take place at Mile End Park Stadium on the 11 a side astro turf pitch. Training session start on Sunday the 7th August and will run until December. They are 9am-10:30am, but please turn up to the first time 15 minutes early to register. A parent or guardian must accompany the child/children on their first session to register them into the sessions. The first 4 sessions in August will be absolutely free and then each session will be just £1.50.

Twins Starting School in Different Classes

Hi, first of all to say I'm really impressed with the new look TAMEE and well done to everyone who has made it happen. I used to help with the running of TAMEE and the group has come under threat a few times so great to see it still going and doing well. I actually moved out of Bow to Kent a few years ago but my local twins group doesn't have a post facility like this and you have to pay to join so hope you don't mind me posting on your site! Anyway I was wondering if there was anyone with older twins who are at school in your group? My non-identical twin girls are starting school in September and going into separate classes but their primary school is actually a bit unusual in that the two classes are in one big room and the two teachers work a lot together so although they are in different classes they will not actually be apart much of the time. My worry is that I realised the other day that TAMBA is actually really against twins being split up at all for the first few years of school and even though I feel it's the right thing to do it's made me worry I'm doing the wrong thing and I wondered if anyone had any positive or negative stories of twins being in different classes when they start school? Thanks Rachel
